If you run a cycle shop or want to start one, a bicycle dealership with an established manufacturer gives you a range that is already proven in the market. This page explains how becoming a Hi-Bird dealer works, in plain terms.
Who we look for
- Existing cycle, sports or kids-products retailers who want a stronger range
- New shop owners with a location, a way to stock and sell, and a plan for service
- Wholesalers who supply smaller shops in their district
What you actually invest in
There is no single fixed number, because it depends on how many models you stock and how large your shop is. In practice your money goes into three things: opening stock, display and signage, and working capital for the first few months. We would rather agree a stock plan that fits your sales than push you to take more than you can sell.
How margins are set
Dealer margin depends on the model, the order size and the territory. We share the dealer price list directly after you apply, so you can calculate your own margin per model before committing. We do not publish margin percentages on the open web, and you should be wary of any brand that does without knowing your market.
What support to expect
- A catalog and model guidance based on what sells in your city and segment
- Clear terms on orders, dispatch and warranty in writing
- Display signage and banner support, so your shop is easy to recognise as a Hi-Bird dealer
- Direct contact with the Ludhiana team, not a call centre
